Washington’s six public universities—Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, The Evergreen State College, University of Washington, Washington State University, and Western Washington University—have launched wapublicuniversities.org, a centralized website and awareness campaign created to better serve students and families across our state.
Over the past year, COP’s six member institutions worked together to develop a shared site that unites admissions information and tools for students navigating the transition from high school to college while preserving each institution’s individual processes. The result is an inviting, accessible resource that helps prospective students explore options and plan their future at a Washington public university.

This effort reflects the leadership and expertise of our sector’s admissions directors, with valuable input from our enrollment leads, whose contributions have been central to its success.
Helpful Planning Tools
Designed for ease of use, the site includes tools such as a degree finder and a dual credit database to help students identify programs of interest and understand course equivalencies.
Digital Campaign to Raise Awareness
A statewide digital campaign continuing through January 2026 will support the website launch by reaching students and families across Washington, helping to increase awareness of these resources.
