In conjunction with our six member campuses, COP staff engage in policy related work in a myriad of areas, ranging from K-12 to higher education transitions; academic policy; finance, accountability and transparency; access, affordability, and quality; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and more. This results in the preparation of policy briefs, reports, factsheets, and presentations that inform institutional and state level policy.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, COP staff have also taken a leadership role on behalf of the sector to share campus updates, develop communication materials for prospective students and their families, and work with state policymakers on appropriate directives and guidance to ensure the continued safety of our students, faculty, and staff.
